Farewell Fairy Tale II
Posted: October 7, 2011 Filed under: Inhibitions Illustrated, Play Poetry : Words In Imaginary Motion Leave a comment »When I watch clouds drifting by in the summer sky,
I observe my amusement turning into musing.
And then I wonder why,
Why it is so hard for my mind to let go instead of archiving like a museum.
Then I remember the old saying ‘time flies’,
And I can almost hear my heart beating as loud as a bell.
So before the memory gets stale,
I remember ‘the here, the now’ – farewell fairy tale.

I hear the seas are as sweet as their cane.
Fail your happy home,
And I will let go my fears as if on ibogaine.

Down The Rhubarb Straw

While the pigment of seduction masked the guilt on her face.
The scent of prohibition was scattered around the place,
So we touched but could not dare to taste,
As we basked in a moment not lost to haste.
