Death of a Dreamer

Midlife blues in the modern man’s lifespan
are quick to come.
Juveniles quickly become breadwinners,
and have dependents.
Their greys start to grow
and if they have nothing to show,
they dive into the gorge of failure –
drowning their dreams and their descendants’.

Portia Galactica

Cosmic concubine in dreams where I fly
My shuttle past pluto chasing a never ending parallel
You, me & eternity, my world we do defy
Even heaven, even hell

on rest

a warm bed
assuages the pains of the day
if you keep them out of your mind
when you lay your head…

Hymns and Hurdles

a first breath
accompanied by a hymn

with every life’s hurdle
a recital, a theme

and as you are lowered to your grave
once more they will sing

Shading Sea Shells

Scattered among beach pebbles
Yet in clusters of assorted labels
Co-existing like humanity attempts to
Then enslaved and left to dangle on their necks as jewels
They came to shore for sun
But got shot with their shading gun

Hiatus Whole

Adieu hoary factors
Sorry no more letters
Bonjour new matters –
Scenes and actors
Will inspire me better!
