Oneironaut’s Nightmare

at night I dreamt of Cape Verde in mid summer
the light drizzle didn’t seem to satiate my thirst for lovers but her sunny smile did
she was so endemic I swore I would not wake up so as to never leave her
but then I did.

Inside Cumulonimbus

purple haze clouds of smoke
cover the conservatory upon his return from monotonous days at work
and during nights when he chases his dreams
and that was all right for some time
but the emotions are now weighing heavy
and he feels  the rain coming

Gasoline gods

Golden faces
Sun kissed petroleum jelly
Steel-capped boots & laces
And fire in the belly

Flowers & Explosives

tears stream
and provide drink
for the lips

Suicide Street

To desire that which you loathe
Is a complex that breeds self-disgust
And allowing your mind to explore this abnormal impulse
Is alike inhaling dust
Just like the beat of your heart
That too is an art that can self-destruct
But with that said; it also gives definition
Walking a path infested with the allures of evil
Is a journey to understanding the full effects of self-indulgence
In fact it is one that is essential,
For history is retracing back from where you stand today

to imagine the days before your birth is a venture into your non-existence : is that not suicide?
and to imagine yourself in the future is venturing into uncertainty : is that not reincarnation?
