a Song of Songs
Posted: June 29, 2014 Filed under: Writings by one ambidextrous... 2 CommentsPrecious beauty
simple and sincere,
never short of sympathy…
always patient and fair.
Should I be so lucky
to share a blissful union…
and have you bear our children,
they’d bring the world so much cheer.

Love Hallways
Posted: June 27, 2014 Filed under: Writings by one ambidextrous... 1 CommentSome doors are open and one can see the superficial displays,
some are closed with windows that are double glazed.
Some are clean typifying a kind of naivety,
some are less so perhaps because of too much gaiety.
One but stands out —
not spotless but quite impressive,
the door is shut but the window open –
delicious aromas escape through it,
the sound of sweet music suggests a disposition wildly innocent,
and so on this door he’ll knock.

beats for love
Posted: June 26, 2014 Filed under: Writings by one ambidextrous... 5 CommentsMankind’s subconscious wish to define ‘high art’ was sufficient impetus for the formation of the word ‘heart’. Of course, I have just made that up; however, I am most certain the heart – beyond its beat – serves only to prepare us for that dance, and it does so, just so we can experience the highest form of art… that of loving!

feathers in a tomb
Posted: June 26, 2014 Filed under: Writings by one ambidextrous... 1 CommentLife bearer…
gorgeous womb and bosom bright,
the milk of human kindness is your plume —
all comes to light when you are in sight.
Stay nearer…
get a tomb next to mine when it’s your time,
fly with me to the moon —
we’ll be madly in love forever.

Miss Embrace

and warm embrace
gave me strength –
which made me notice
that despair only stays
where there is no depth.
