I say this with some diffidence

that the world is full of struggles for recognition

coterminous with the quest for love and reverence

but also fears of indifference

and tears of rejection

i think we take rejection far too seriously. it can also be a gift. better to lose the wrong person than to stay with a person who is too weak-spined to offer the freedom where true love is to be found.

Beautifully expressed, Heath. I love your choice of words – coterminous, diffidence, reverence etc. Lovely. I’s funny how fear of rejection worries so many of us.

Recognition is something we strive for, all of us. And tears of rejection are much bitter in indifference of them by the world. But I also happen to agree with Steph……aptly expressed though!
