Right to Rest
Posted: May 1, 2015 Filed under: Writings by one ambidextrous... 15 Commentsfirst, realise the only respectable reason for taking rest is so that you can relax and recuperate
but remember, these days the right to it is overrated
so as soon as your reflexes are right again
rise and let the rejuvenation reflect in how you react to life
as you run your race, and all the rest…

Interesting. I’m curious about your thought process on the structure–specifically, the line lengths. I don’t mean to ask you to explain, but rather that it gave me pause to go back, think, and wonder a little–generaly a good thing. Your use of sound is stellar, by the way.

thanks Chuck, to be honest I don’t even think I can explain it well enough even if I try… sometimes I feel the sentences write themselves. I’m glad you mention sound because generally that’s what I follow…. I really can’t stand reading back what I’ve written almost all of the time – nice for you to prompt me to, it’s usually when I read comments such as yours that I can even stomach it… you’re always helpful, I appreciate that, esp the fact that you don’t demand explanations since I’m terrible at giving them… enjoy your weekend buddie 🙂

Excellent! I don’t know if you meant it that way, but I see that as something a lot of people I know use an excuse to remain uninvolved in important matters.

The story line is great and freeform seems to be more accepted these days. I enjoy your stories more than anything. You open and close as you should. Great write!

The condition of humanity doesn’t allow for extended rest. Even whilst traveling, I am in the mode of service to others.
