74.3

whenever there is a limited supply
particularly of things material
it appears that what one man can draw into his possession
can only be afforded at the expense of another

but when it comes to those gifts – not gotten or given for gain
such as those of the mind and spirit
it does seem that one is able to uplift others and if not to one’s own level
then in the least inspires them to reach for an even higher plane
