seek uniformity and conform – at least some of your ideas to suit the preconceived opinions on what is considered propriety by those you want to influence – in order that their ideas align with your own

because see, if a leader with an earnest appeal for humanity reaches the minds and hearts of the masses and yet continues to disregard or fails to recognise their traditions, he’ll effect no lasting impression
