Genius yields activity, thus it’s never devoid of action, although its desired result is not preservation or propagation because it’s an end in itself. And as Varinus Phavorinus stated: ‘on earth there is nothing great but man, in man there is nothing great but mind’ since it makes possible the ability to form ideal conceptions of space and time; of the eternal and infinite; the capacity for highly concentrated artistic feelings of pleasure in configuration, colour and composition; even the abstract notions of form and value.
