Lily my love…
Posted: July 25, 2016 Filed under: Words In Imaginary Motion 2 Commentstogether – taking on the sweet challenges
of ethical pursuits
though far from idealists
we still take into consideration our roots
my life I lease to you my lover
pretty miss from Addis Ababa
your two lips like tulips
succulent nectar… colourful kisses
your eye is always on the prize
but you’re the one I can’t resist
you make me realise that sacrifice need not exclude pleasure
quite simply you show me bliss… bring me balance
and when I’m too clever by half
my flaws you fix
such a brave beauty
with a touch as soft as butterfly breath
and what I create – you inspire
a match made in heaven
a light… a passionate desire
so by you I want to do right, and keep ablaze our flame… our fire!

I like the rhyming and rhythm of your poem. Lovely complementary relationship.
