Setting: 31st Street, Downtown December
Time: Year of the Happy & New

Scene I:

how lucky he is
that she believes he’s all the man she’ll ever need
when in reality he’s only a man
with a weakness for the sacred feminine
and far from the indestructible, shiny spec in the galaxy
super-Earth 55 Cancri e

Scene II:

dancing to the tunes
sparkling wine and good food
indica fumes escaping the open roof
conversations in the garden
under sky… stars… moon
all the makings of a Mills & Boon

    I Googled Mills and Boon. Your second stanza could come straight from one of their romance novels. But I like the human puzzle of the first stanza.
