Nature Captured
Posted: January 19, 2017 Filed under: Inhibitions Illustrated, Words In Imaginary Motion 2 Commentscool summer morning
fresh smell of earth carried in by the breeze through the window opening
delights the nostrils
hand reaching to draw the curtain
then feeling for a water bottle kept on the window sill
the first of each day’s fuels
the bed – not yet ready to climb out of
so a one person peek-a-boo play
o, just look how the godly light shines through
the subtle misty sky… wooo!
mountains in the distance obscured
and yet, still such a spectacular view
nature’s majesty and might
the closest thing to truth
green grass covered playground with morning dew
a gaggle of Egyptian geese gathered along the rill
where water from the Diep flows through
inspiration sprinkles
making the mind fertile too
fragments of a forgotten childhood
and all the memories one can’t seem to quite hold on to reveal volumes
of emotions in the unconscious
eh, who said lost love is untraceable?

This is especially engaging. It is my favorite piece of your writing to date. The images it conjures up speak to my heart and feelings. Simply lovely.
