All Over Again
Posted: October 27, 2017 Filed under: Words In Imaginary Motion Leave a commentSo glad you came
Mountain views at dawn are always grand
When I’m next to you
Started off with a little conversation
But we both knew where it’d end
In my bed
Can’t get enough of you

Posted: October 26, 2017 Filed under: Words In Imaginary Motion 2 CommentsLet’s lay bare…
Nothing but the naked truth
We’ll have to play fair
And go over everything with a fine-tooth comb
Find the self-confidence to show me your imperfections
Trust, I have more and then some
Swing by and I’ll fix a cuppa chai and black molasses brew
I know they’re your favourite two
We can even roll up that good good
I know you’d like that too
Come over and let’s talk things through
I bet we’ll make a breakthrough
As long as we keep our intentions pure
Sketch for a Theory of Persistent Passions (v) – The Finale
Posted: October 18, 2017 Filed under: Writings by one ambidextrous... 4 CommentsThat which is final can’t be finite since it’s impossible to conclude the examination of our ultimate objectives; seeing as the very defining of a motive is a negation due to the fact that raison d’être is always subject to the environment of its formation. Also, a thing outside the frame of thought, that which is tangible, is still a vital part of the whole and although a fragment can be distinguishable from entirety, the whole is not discoverable without reference to the part; just like personality is an expression of character, which is the mould of habit and one cannot expect to fully understand another’s persona outside the context of their activities.
A Matter of Mind

Till the plot before sowing if you wish to harvest a good crop, and whatever you attempt… make a good showing before the motion grinds to a stop, says reason.
Certainty comes at a high price but happiness is the harmonious balance between man’s character and his circumstances, says common sense.
Dearth of the Didactic
Posted: October 17, 2017 Filed under: Writings by one ambidextrous... 2 CommentsAvoid becoming like the vacillating man who is always at the mercy of the opinion of the demagogues he comes across.
Rather, be true to the best you know and strive through observation and study, to think independently by having a healthy indifference to the ideas, interpretations, and suggestions of popular bodies.
Be respectfully unafraid to form your own convictions, and when you have clarity of vision and an adequate understanding of your position and potential; when your grand purpose is indelibly impressed on your mind, dare to act and don’t hesitate!
The Crest
Posted: October 15, 2017 Filed under: Writings by one ambidextrous... 6 CommentsThere is no predestination about success
And it takes one a good many dreams of fortune before they can make an actual dime
But if you have fixity of purpose
And conditions become favourable in time
The stars will align and bless – you’ll realise that without patience and effort you’d have never reached the crest
Purple Note

On the other hand, reason makes clear that it is better to cede to forces of progression and accept the past cannot escape diminution, than to waste time in contrition.
The Essence of Endeavour
Posted: October 14, 2017 Filed under: Writings by one ambidextrous... 2 CommentsThey all want the elixir
So they can live as long as Old Tom Parr
Forgetting that nature
Will only bestow on those that can nurture
And that to live for posterity, as a man of undying stature
One must etch youthful exuberance on life’s canvas
In the now, never later!
