Silence & Silhouettes: Melody for Milady

I see your eyes
When I shut mine
At night
And imagine
You by my side
Or fantasise
About the good ‘ol times
Maybe
I’ve lost my mind
Or do you think maybe
Your kind
Again, I’ll never find?

Streams of silence
And the sound of night
Heavy
Is my heart
It’s almost hard to describe
But Melody
My rib, my right
Do you think maybe
We live to love, only to say goodbye?

  1. Parting is not sweet sorrow, or sweet anything. It is just a nuisance.

It can be if people are too needy. I think we all need to feel free, whether in a relationship or not. All relationships need care and compromise, but it should be freely given.
    Glue pots kill relationships.
However, I still think that parting from someone we love and are involved with (as your poem suggests) is sad, knowing also that a great part of life is sad as well.
