Happy Here
Posted: December 25, 2018 Filed under: Writings by one ambidextrous... 2 Commentsgood, truth, and love hold dear
and pursue them before pleasure
for there’s less to desire
when you’re one with nature
no forces to fear
when you’re God – not the nomenclature
and remember, even if the end is near
cheer will still trump jeer
but happiness won’t be found there, if not here
A Song for Alyssa

escapes your sweet lips
everytime you smile
and your pretty eyes
have a golden glint
that lights up my life
so when the sky is tint
keep in mind that sunset dips
bring tomorrow’s sunshine
you’re forever on my mind
so I’m playing for keeps
hoping this lasts a lifetime
The Weakened (prequel)

on equivocal whiteboards
it’s a wicked world you’re told
and you should live today
for you’ll die tomorrow
so you burn the black gold
weekend away down the gorge
and by sunrise the following day
you’ll still be alive
lagging behind
going through the same cycle
a perpetual funeral
On Effective Execution
Posted: December 14, 2018 Filed under: Writings by one ambidextrous... Leave a commentIdeas tend to bounce off each other, that is why often – sound schemes form from seemingly scattered thoughts. So in order to execute an idea aptly and unerringly – the need for creative discipline, a rational intensity in the passionate pursuit of that idea, and even more important, the objective observation of influences upon the development of such an idea is imperative, and in most instances indispensable – for those factors are inextricably linked to the outcome of an effected implementation course.
Civilisation Under Reconstruction

maybe habits won’t be mistaken for continuity or consistency
you see – they still like tiaras and carats
but don’t subscribe to romantic love or marriage
and who’s to say there’s anything wrong with that?
look – they consider pedigree over character
shadows over skeletons
shallows over depths
but what if they are right for it?
besides, is any instance of creation everlasting?
A Ways To Go
Posted: December 5, 2018 Filed under: Writings by one ambidextrous... Leave a commentpay no mind to the big talk
instead – observe the little actions
because those that get ahead
often start with small steps
never rush to scribble on the board
before you source the chalk
and remember the path to attainment
will be – at some intersections – gridlocked
