I’ve been browsing your Play Poetry schemes and I feel that the impact I’ll get will arrive sometime “after” the thought is gone! In other words… it is the images of events that have manifested reality that can’t be adequately placed with the words we’re used to! You have an interesting outlet to stop by! Keep them flowing!!!

I do have to say something about the photo slide, that picture with you and the girl eating those humongous plates…….tell me where that place is, with the stomach I have I´ll probably eat both of those so called plates in a blink of an eye. Then I´ll probably suffer from small stomach pain but it would sure be worth it.

    Dear New Friends,

I will be 81 in a few days so 1 of July has that special meaning. Also I am a would-be writer still learning, so there’s another part of our linking bridge. Finally, I have lovely memories of Zimbabwe, having played cricket there in 1989 with the Australian Old Collegians.

I am writing frantically each day, blogging and doing a biography and a novel. I will come to your site regularly and try to share any worthwhile thoughts. I am thrilled to be part of your awareness.

Good going, and all my best wishes,

Thank you Heath (and others) for inviting me into the region of your mind. I have just read the July archive. I find the precision of the writing quite an inspiration. I could not help thinking of William Blake’s words: “Hold infinity in the palm of your hand, And eternity in an hour.”

One of my sons is interested in haiku and has found welcome, via the net, in Japan. The brief July pieces made me think of this.

I looked up Busoni and found he would not play in countries that foster war. Thanks for helping me to keep on learning.

    Bravo!
