Of Class & Condition

The schools
Teach children that the structure of human life requires division of labour
And consequently division into social classes with contrasting living conditions
All based on the idea that there are differences in importance of assignments
Ultimately, entrenching in their impressionable minds that equality is unattainable

The press
Creates movement of thought in a populace
Which has lost the habit of thinking
Unless prompted by the suggestions of pundits
Such that adults live and work to impress tablemates
Only to retire and become reliant on the aid of a state responsible for their shared fate –
A lack of independence

Power, Politics, People

The right to immoderate use of power
Bestowed upon parties by the public –
Which credulously disregards unbiased observations and revelations of historical outcomes
In favour of theoretics with no basis in reality –
Leads to acts of political expediency…
The tools of despotic rulers
Who understand that what is necessary and useful
Is not always what is virtuous or principled
And so violence, bribery, and deception they employ
Any means necessary
While the subjugated engage in moonshine
Tippling and gambling
And living on hopes and memories
They didn’t even have any input in contriving

Women birth men
And men build things

If sons become merchants
And daughters nurses
They’ll have sustenance and good health

If acquainted with lawyers and public officials
They’ll exert influence

And since the moral has little in common with the political
And in nature, rights are exercised through force
And freedom is but an instinct

Show them how to exist
Shape how they live
And because the powers of reasoning have often been proved superficial
Guide them so that they don’t simply become men and women with petty passions, sentiments, beliefs and traditions

Living in the aristocracy of money

Where qualifications are established in wealth

One ought to understand what that wealth is dependent upon

And who provides the motive force for the knowledge that forms the foundation of beliefs and intellect

For, in substance, everything is almost always settled by the question of figures

After all, per eos reges regnant
